"Serving the children of the world"
The Kiwanis Club of Alcoa is an energized group of 64 volunteers, "Dedicated to improving the world, one child, one community at a time".
Since our club was founded in 1954, we continue to focus on providing service for the children of our community as well as supporting Kiwanis International worldwide projects.
Every Thursday we gather from 12:00 noon to 1:00 pm at the Knoxville Airport Hilton Hotel, 2001 Alcoa Highway to have lunch, socialize and plan our activities. Our meetings typically include a program about happenings in and around our community.
In addition to our weekly lunch meeting, The Kiwanis Club of Alcoa also has a Satellite Club, created for our members unable to attend lunch meetings. Our Satellite Club meets the first and third Wednesday of the month from 7:00 to 8:00 am at the Maryville IHOP.
We invite everyone to visit us at either our traditional or satellite meeting. Please do not be a stranger to The Kiwanis Club of Alcoa. We welcome visitors,
Johnny McMillan, President
