Kiwanis Club of Alcoa

Founded in 1954, The Kiwanis Club of Alcoa began with just 30 members and has grown to its current membership of over 70. Over the years, the club has held many fundraisers, including our Annual Pancake Breakfast, Antique Appraisal Fair, Fall Gala, and many other events. First and foremost, our commitment is to help children not only in our own community, but throughout the world. These commitments include AmTrykes (Specially built Tricycles for special needs children) , The United Way, Isaiah 117 House (provides physical and emotional support in a safe loving home for children awaiting placement,) The Special Olympics, Scholarship Programs and much more. The club has enjoyed a rich history, with its members coming from all walks of life, such as the medical field, accounting, civil service, education, management, philanthropy and others. We have raised over $1,000,000 over our past history to improve the world one child and one community at a time.
